We will remind, in October 2022 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which the Zaporozhye NPP is transferred to the property of the Russian Federation. Since then, Russia has repeatedly accused Ukraine of shelling of the territory of ZPEC, presenting it as a threat to nuclear security and even initiated a meeting of the UN Security Council. Earlier, Focus wrote under what conditions Putin could return to Ukraine a nuclear power plant.
The experts were then convinced that the nuclear power plant would be one of the subjects of negotiations between the US and the Russian Federation. Biologist and scientist Kateryna Shavanova said that the ZPP is constantly in the risk zone, the territory of the station is replaced, and torture is applied to the staff. In general, the duration of the occupation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP will affect the period of restoration of the full operation of the object.
