Prior to the arrival of US assistance: Russia will strengthen the shelling in the coming weeks - isw

According to analysts, the enemy intends to cause maximum harm to Ukrainian infrastructure to try to reduce the possibilities of the Armed Forces. The pressure on the front will also increase. In the next few weeks, Russian invaders can not only change the goals of their blows, but also significantly strengthen them. This is stated in the report of the American Institute of War Study (ISW) of April 23.

According to analysts, the day before the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that Moscow intends to significantly strengthen his shock campaign in the Ukrainian territory. This is done in order to violate the logistics of Ukrainian defenders. Accordingly, analysts predict that in the coming weeks rocket strokes and attacks will only intensify.

The enemy is not going to stop, and intends to do maximum damage to the critical infrastructure and the defense industry before assistance from the United States comes to Ukraine. Military analysts suggest that the Kremlin can change the set of goals that regularly strikes. Logistics, warehouses, etc. can be included in it. For the same purpose, the enemy may activate his offensive at the front in the next weeks.

Such operations are aimed at using the material restrictions on the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces until assistance has arrived from the United States. "The Russian military command may hope that coordinated efforts will limit Ukraine's ability to distribute living force and material in the critical areas of the front and delay improving the opportunities that the Ukrainian forces will give the Ukrainian assistance to the Ukrainian forces," the message reads.

We will remind, on April 23 it was reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are preparing for the offensive in the Donetsk region, but this may interfere with US assistance, as is considered in ISW.
