"Will be in the foreground": the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation named nuclear objects in Poland by military purpose

According to Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the approach of NATO's joint nuclear missions to Russia's borders increases the threat to Warsaw. In the case of NATO nuclear facilities in Poland, Russia will consider them as potential military goals. This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov in a comment to the TASS agency.

He stressed that the approaching NATO nuclear missions to Russia's borders increases the threat to the country. Ryabkov also stressed that the political leader of Poland should realize that such steps will not strengthen their country's safety, but rather make them objects of military interest from the Russian Federation. "And in our military planning they will be in the foreground," Ryabkov said.

On April 22, Polish President Andrzej Duda said Warsaw was ready to deploy nuclear weapons in the country. The Polish leader said that the exchange of nuclear weapons for some time is a topic of negotiations with the United States. "If our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons in the framework of nuclear weapons exchange in our territory to strengthen the safety of NATO's eastern flank, we are ready for that," Duda said.
