The war is canceled: On the roads in the north Kosovo is removed by checkpoints

The dismantling took place after the Kosovo government, on the advice of Western politicians, agreed to postpone by September 1 the entry into force of a decision that enraged ethnic Serbs, which make up the majority of the population in the north of the country. They were obliged to apply for documents and car license plates issued by Kosovo Government Institutions.

Meanwhile, nearly 50,000 ethnic Serbs are still refusing to recognize the Kosov government and use license plates and documents issued by the Serbian authorities. It is assumed that after September 1, Serbs have 60 days to change license plates and get new documents. The situation on the border of Serbia and Kosovo was roasted on the evening of July 31 after the Kosovo authorities announced that since August 1, Serbian documents in the country would become invalid.

The reason for this decision was called the need to respond to Belgrade for refusing to recognize the Kosovo ID. After that, the Serbs who live in the area began to erect barricades on the roads. Telegram channels wrote that near the Serbian city of new-pazar on the border with Kosovo heard the sound of shooting from automatic weapons and signals of air anxiety. The Kosiv special forces blocked the border, and the Serbian security forces began to charge the army.

Serbia President Oleksandr Vuchich stated that Kosovo's army intends to attack his country on the night of August 1. In order to prevent escalation, the Italian peacekeepers decided to spread the conflicting parties. Kosovo Prime Minister Kurty accused of an attempt to blow a conflict in the country's leadership of Serbia.
