"5-10 circles and then beats the target": Shostka stayed without light after more than 20 beats of the Russian Federation-the mayor

To spread: the situation in Shostka and the community remains extremely difficult - most locals are devoid of electricity and gas due to attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and water is served on a schedule. Mayor Nicholas Noga explained that the enemy struck immediately "many objects". "Absolutely difficult situation. Most people without light and gas. Serious responsible work is underway," said the mayor on October 6. A man was killed in the city as a result of a hit and wounded.

"People are treated in hospitals, open points of indomitable, water is supplied by alternative energy sources according to the schedule. According to him, the strikes began from Friday, October 3, and "there were many" - more than 20. In Shostka, "many objects" were affected. "That is, it is not in one place, not in one system," the mayor emphasized. He explained that in addition to the destruction of the infrastructure, there was a psychological factor in the influence of Russian attacks.

That is, the occupiers consciously press on the consciousness of the locals so that they "do not live or do not live at all" in the border part of the Sumy region. "They circled the whole day over our city. Five to ten circles, and then beat the target," he described the leg. He assured that the whole system is working on stabilization, but before that is "far away". On Facebook, the mayor informed that the situation in the community remains "extremely difficult".

Within a few days the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was deprived of local elementary utilities. Light and gas were completely absent, and water was supplied only on the schedule, using alternative sources. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and the chairman of Sumy Ova Oleg Grigorov intervened in the situation. This allowed to solve a number of "important problems" on the restoration of operation of energy supply and gas supply systems.

Energy from other regions were attracted to the restoration, and it was also decided to increase the number of reserve sources. "Energy and gas workers work around the clock. The necessary equipment is being delivered promptly for repair work," the leg reported. The city employs 120 points of indomitable, where Ukrainians can warm up and recharge their phone. In the direction of Kyiv -Shatter organized combined transportation - by train and bus. The traffic routes were adapted in view of the danger.

On October 7, the mayor stated that round -the -clock work on the restoration of utilities is still ongoing. "It is difficult to restore power supply in residential districts, so far, according to temporary schedules, with limited volumes. This approach allows you to stabilize the power system and move to increasing the volume of power supply," he explained. There are some entrances and apartments without gas supply.

The number of locations where the vulnerable categories of the population distribute hot food and tea, increased from 5 to 10 only in three days. Experts bypass homes where single elderly people and persons with disabilities live, providing them with help. Recall that on October 7, they are forced to give light only on a schedule in the Chernihiv region.
