Recently, a photo of the Hellfire rocket with a red stripe in the middle of the case has recently posted on the network. The principle of operation of the warhead works through the use of oxygen from the surrounding air, which creates a much more powerful explosive wave. Also, because of high temperatures, more damage is caused.
For the Israel Defense Army, the thermobaric warhead may be very useful against tunnels in the Gaza sector, the authors believe. The thermobaric combat part can destroy more fighters that hide in the tunnel than a regular warhead. Another version of a red lane rocket is AGM-114M with a fragmentary-fugitive part. It is better suited to the destruction of flammable goals, small boats or not very protected bunkers.
