Russian hackers from the game attacked the logistics of 13 NATO states: they were interested in supplies to Ukraine

To spread: a group of hackers funded by Russia, since 2022, attacked at least 13 NATO and Ukraine members to obtain information on the supply of Western weapons of Kiev. This is stated in the analytical report of the Agency of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection (CISA) of the US Department of Internal Security.

The main goals of the campaign were logistics companies, IT enterprises and transport infrastructure that provide coordination, transportation and delivery of foreign aid to Ukraine. Russian hackers attacked NATO member state companies, including the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Romania, the USA, as well as Ukraine and international organizations related to: it is noted that the attacks carried out a unit Apt28, Forest Blizzard or Bluedelta.

One of the priority goals of Russian hackers was transport invoices, including information about trains, aircraft and containers that show exactly what is going to Ukraine and when. The report states that thousands of IP cameras were captured at border crossing points and railway units, which gave Russian intelligence the possibility of observing the columns of humanitarian aid in real time.
