Withdrawal of troops and reparations: Reznikov voiced the conditions of territorial compromise with the Russian Federation

Moscow has to pay reparations for all the destroyed infrastructure, as well as for murder, rape, torture and other crimes. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov on the air of the Dan TV channel DR Denmark stated that a territorial compromise with the Russian Federation is possible only if Ukraine will reach the borders of 1991, and Russia will pay reparations.

According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, Kyiv can compromise only when the Russians will remove their troops from the territory of Ukraine, and the issue of neighborhood between the countries will be discussed after the release of the whole territory. "They will have to pay reparations for all the destroyed infrastructure and all killed Ukrainians - for murder, rape, torture and all crimes. Territorial compromise is Ukraine's exit to the borders of 1991," Reznikov emphasized.

At the same time, Reznikov noted that the General Staff of the Armed Forces will be able to choose the most favorable directions for the counter -offensive when the front will stabilize. "We need a counter -offensive to liberate territories, which is why we have announced it as a fact. Our people and partners are waiting for active actions, our partners should know that we need more weapons for active action," Reznikov said.

He also stated that the main goal of Ukraine is to completely liberate the temporarily occupied territory within 1991, including the Kherson region, Lugansk and Donetsk region and Crimea. We will remind, on August 11 the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov participated in the conference in Copenhagen. It was attended by officials of defense agencies of 26 countries who agreed to allocate 1. 5 billion euros of military assistance to Ukraine.
