Space "Space 2553" will become a platform for orbital nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation - analytics

American experts have pointed out that the Russian apparatus is in orbit about 2,000 km tall near the longest edge of the low -Earth orbits belt. This may be due to the future testing of orbital nuclear weapons. Recent discoveries in the space industry are of serious anxiety with military experts and analysts of the United States. It is a Russian Space Satellite 2553, which, according to American experts, can become a key link in the development of future nuclear sipping weapons.

This is stated in detail in Breaking Defense from May 23. The Russian Space Satellite 2553 is about 2,000 kilometers in a height near the longest edge of the low -Earth orbits (Noo). This attracted the attention of analysts, as such orbit is ideal for placing a radar with synthesized aperture (SAR) for land observation. However, judging by the estimates, this satellite can also be used to test future orbital nuclear weapons.

Thus, according to The Wall Street Journal, sent to space on February 5, 2022, the Russian satellite is designed to test the components of a potential sipping weapon, which will be provided with nuclear charge. According to Todd Harrison from the US Institute of Entrepreneurship in a message at the X May 16, one of the oddities of "Space 2553" is to place it at the top of the low Earth orbit - much higher than most other satellites in this orbital region.

There is no official information yet that nuclear weapons are located on the satellite. However, given the statements of US officials about Russia's intentions to place such weapons in space, Space 2553 becomes the object of increased interest and anxiety. The fact is that experts' assumption, Space 2553 can be used to carry out experiments with secondary amounts of workloads, such as the development of ways to protect subsystems from the effects of radiation in the space environment.

This can indicate the serious intentions of Russia in the field of space technology. US officials are concerned about the possible development of the Russian Space Military Program. According to statements of the State Department and other sources, Cosmos 2553 became the subject of attention of US military and intelligence services.
