Agrosector on the verge: a tax mess threatens bankruptcy of companies during the war

At the time when the agrarian sector of Ukraine suffers from unprecedented challenges: war in the country, drought, shutdown of light, there is another threat - the arbitrariness of the tax authorities. One of the victims of this arbitrariness is Promettey. The actions of the tax inspection literally paralyze the work of accounting, suspend the financial activity of the company, forcing its employees to focus solely on the search for violations, not on their direct work.

Very often, tax employees still cannot find what they were looking for, and then the accusations are so absurd that the company and even the taxpayers know that it is deliberately losing their business in court. Now, the penalties and judicial spores are not complete, the tax has started a real war against business. And she started with the companies in the list of "risky", in fact, blocking the ability to do business.

This is a new trend among inspections that turn into a systemic problem for many businesses across the country. The introduction of the company to this list means the complete paralysis of its activity: months or even years the company will be forced to fight in the courts to restore its reputation and normal work. All this time, hundreds of employees will be left without salaries, and the agricultural company - without the ability to pay taxes.

It is in this situation that Promtey agroholding now got. Its owner Raphael Goroan is one of the first to speak about the abuse of tax on Ukrainian business. "Now one of the agroholding companies will be a year or a half to fight for their existence - just as much time it can take the case in the court they have imposed on us. And the taxpayers, as if not seeing the catastrophic state of the agricultural sector, continue to press on enterprises that are already on the verge of bankruptcy.

" Such actions of tax authorities threaten not only a particular company, but also the agricultural sector as a whole. In the face of war, when the agricultural sector is experiencing serious challenges - from the loss of personnel through mobilization to constant shelling and drones on elevators, the tax war can be the last blow to many companies. Raphael Goroan does not plan to put up with this situation in the country. She says she is a lat for agribusiness and for prometey in particular.

"The authorities promised business to support. Everywhere they told about" Business Nanny "," White Collar Club ". It's all beautiful words, but meaning not in how you call it, meaning in how it will work. . We will really witness the collapse of one of the few Ukrainian agro -companies, which still keeps jobs and pays taxes during the war. The actions of taxpayers threaten the future of the whole industry, which, in turn, will have catastrophic consequences for the entire economy in the country.
