Missile blows or attack on Kherson: Expert explained how the Russian Federation can respond for attack on Crimea (video)

The Russian authorities do not plan a nuclear strike in response to Ukraine's attacks in Crimea. It is not even possible to restore damaged ships of the Black Sea Fleet. In August and September 2023, the Ukrainian defense forces struck a number of strikes on the military bases of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea.

For several weeks, it was possible to destroy the S-400 air defense settings, to repel "Boyko's towers", to punch a landing and underwater ships and, finally, to kiss the Sevastopol Sea Fleet Command in Sevastopol. So far, everything that Russia has failed to have burned the hotel near the seaport in Odessa. Oleksandr Musienko, the head of the Military Legal Research Center, told whether to expect some particularly powerful response to the Armed Forces in the Crimea.

The expert expressed his position in an exclusive comment for focus. Musienko explained that Ukrainian strikes in the Crimea can lead to the complete destruction of the Black Sea Federation and to the fact that the peninsula will no longer be a logistical hub for the southern grouping of troops. Therefore, the Russian authorities are thinking about actions that can "sell" the population as a victory. In his opinion, there are several options that will be given as a "answer for Sevastopol".

The first option is to carry out some rocket stroke. The blow and so should happen, they are preparing for it, but the Russians will tell that it is a "nick" to Ukraine. The second option is to intensify hostilities on a section of the front. The expert suggested that it was possible to increase the fighting in the Kherson region: for example, the enemy may try to land on the right bank of the Dnieper.

"To intercept the media initiative after Crimea, for them - extremely unfavorable - they can intensify the fighting. An attempt is not excluded from the left bank to the right - to Kherson. Although possible activation is possible in another area of the front, - Musienko said. On September 13, the winged rockets destroyed Rostov-on-Don and the Minsk submarine, which stood in the dry dock in Sevastopol. After that, the Ministry of Defense reported the damage to several patrol ships.

The ships of the Russian Federation on which Musienko's views were struck. Due to these defense forces, Russian ships can only perform 20-25% of the tasks assigned to them. To beat "calibers" in Ukrainian infrastructure. However, they cannot carry out landing, they cannot block ports, they miss strokes. It is noticeable that there is no time and resources for the restoration of the Black Sea Federation.

One of the shocks of the Armed Forces damaged the dry dock of the ship repair plant in Sevastopol. Therefore, the possibility of repairing damaged ships decreased. In addition, sanctions are available: they can be bypassed, but they will significantly complicate the process. In general, it turns out that to restore the Fleet of the Russian Federation should spend more than one year. "It takes years to restore the Rostov-on-Don ship: 3-4 years-no less," Musienko is sure.

However, the threat of losing a fleet in the Black Sea will not plant Russia at the negotiation table, the expert said. According to him, the position of the Russian Federation will change only when the Armed Forces will cause comprehensive losses on both land and water. Musienko summed up: "To win this war at sea, it is necessary that it is combined with the war on land.

When we are comprehensively liberating our cities when we will cause losses to Russian troops, then they will look for some decision. Its capabilities will not cause the Russian position to change immediately. " We remind that the fighters of defense forces have seized a unique Russian T-72BZ tank in the Zaporozhye region, equipped with a board computer. There is a threat that the Russian Federation is preparing to release hundreds of similar machines.
