Revolution in military camouflage: HT4 development guarantees complete thermal invisibility (photo)

According to Kastinger, the new material allows you to adjust the temperature and ensures almost complete invisibility. Regardless of whether HT4 technological tissue is used in extreme climatic conditions. The winner of the prestigious Prix de l'Audace prize for military innovations in 2024 was HT4 technology, often called "thermal invisible". France founded this award in 1992 to celebrate promising achievements in the field of defense. This was reported on the PGM Précision portal.

It is noted that for its development the company was awarded the French Agency for Innovation in the field of defense. Innovative material allows you to regulate the temperature and provides almost complete thermal invisibility, regardless of whether the material is used in extreme climatic conditions or in different environments. Military technologies often change the results of wars in favor of the owners of advanced developments.

The emergence of thermal imaging chambers has become a serious challenge for traditional camouflage systems. The uniforms of the soldiers merged with the environment, but their thermal signatures remained noticeable. Since then, innovations such as HT4 material have appeared. The technology developed by Kastinger was launched into the PGM Précision market. This technology provides adaptive thermal protection, effectively conceals even intense heat sources.

It has been developed to protect staff and equipment, and technology resists a wide range of thermal threats - from monocular thermal imagers to sensors installed on drones and fighters. This material can also be covered with large equipment, such as helicopters. The HT4 poncho retains the same temperature as the environment.

The manufacturer's website reports that the new material appeared due to the combination of different technologies, which allows not to be discovered by any of the existing thermal imaging systems. We will remind that the concern "Kalashnikov" tests "Stealth"-motocycles for war in Ukraine. It is reported that the new Russian development is allegedly not noticed by thermal imagers.
