Putin did not want to withdraw from the war - how the Kremlin rejected peace from Trump and why the Russian military machine will not stop

Historians, of course, will still analyze this case: for more than half a year, the USA, with an unprecedented offer, gave Russia the opportunity to get out of the destructive trap into which the Russians drove themselves. Moreover, it is not easy to get out, but on honorable terms - with red carpets, lifting of sanctions, proposals for joint projects and consolation prizes.

In general, in wars of this scale, this simply does not happen - a unique case, and proposals of this level are simply not refused. From this, many were confident that Putin would agree, because good is not sought after good, and this is literally the most successful window into which you can sneak in before the trap door closes for good. But Putin didn't just push Trump's hand away, he did it in the most perverse way — mocking him and making him look like a fool to the whole world.

It is interesting that the Zetniks and probably just indifferent citizens of the Russian Federation (indifference = passively serving the Kremlin's course) really hoped for a certain freeze - it was visible between the lines: from internal conversations to conversations, as they say, in the kitchen.

And so I wonder if they understand how wrong their leader was, against the background of the fact that the USA has completely unblocked the sale of arms to Ukraine for European money (where only one package from one country can cost half a billion euros), and now they have also introduced new sanctions.

There is a feeling that Putin is playing "hoyka" - you can try out a bunch of scenarios and look: "I wonder how it will be, if so?" — at the same time, as if not understanding that even in "Ironman" mode, you have no right to make a mistake. What can we say about real life.

Perhaps Putin understands everything, but he simply does not know what to do with his military economy and army - literally black and unnecessary, which is kept in discipline only as long as there is an active front and draconian methods.

These are not regular Air Force contracts, which can simply be sent home on PPD, and not conscript boys - here it is literally unclear what to do with this troop, how and what to do with the military economy and the accumulated contradictions within the Russian Federation itself. And if this is the reason, then everything falls into place.
