The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar told this on Facebook. "Today, there is no urgent need to significantly increase the number of women in military registration," the painter wrote. However, according to her, the Armed Forces still need people with specialties in the fields of medicine, food technologies and radio engineering.
The painter also explained that the obligation to put women on military registration, which have certain military accounting specialties, is a rule of law. The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff cannot change it. However, if the norm is changed, then the agencies will be obliged to fulfill it. The painter reminded that all decisions on this issue would be made by the Verkhovna Rada. She said no woman has been forcibly forced since 2014 - only voluntarily.
