The organizational committee of the competition Viceremier Dmitry Chernyshenko, who previously managed the organizing committee of the Olympics in Sochi in 2014, will head the competition. The chairman of the Supervisory Board will be the deputy chairman of Putin administration Sergey Kiriyenko. According to the decree, the competition will be held for the purpose of "further development of international cultural and humanitarian cooperation".
The event is planned to be organized in Moscow and Moscow region. This competition is not new. "Interaction" took place in the 1970s and 1980s in the countries of the socialist bloc.
