"This is a completely different goal": the expert said that the Ukrainian Malrytsa missile is known (video)

According to Alexei Hetman, if the "meadow" reaches the targets at a distance of 500 km, then it will be able to beat many airfields of Russia. The creation of the Palyanitsa missile partially removes the problem of obtaining permission from allies for the use of Western weapons for goals in the depths of Russia. This was stated by a military expert, a major in the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Hetman on the air "Radio NV".

He noted that it is now announced that this rocket can overcome the distance of up to 700 kilometers and can carry more than 100 kilograms of explosives. Also, "Palyanitsa" can gain speeds of more than 500 kilometers per hour. However, as the hetman said, this cannot be regarded as the exact characteristics. Sometimes "fog of war" makes it not quite truthful information about weapons that are just beginning to use. According to the hetman, the range can be regulated by the weight of the explosive.

The rocket itself will be more difficult for the Russians than UAVs flying at a speed of 200-250 kilometers per hour. "Because a speed of 500 km per hour is a completely different goal. And given that there is a rocket engine, it can be quite maneuverable," the analyst said. Hetman also said that if the "Paliatsya" reaches the targets at a distance of 500 km, then it will be able to beat many airfields of Russia.

"It is necessary to focus better on the production and improvement of our weapons than to expect permits from partners. With partners, we need to negotiate missiles by a distance of more than a thousand kilometers, and everything that flies at a distance of 500 km can be compensated by our own production," the analyst said. Recall that Defense Express reported that Kiev has a better air defense system than Moscow.
