"Vulnerable": Russia cannot protect itself from sea drones at night - expert

The Russians, in order to avoid attacks of drones, tried to change the contours of their Black Sea Fleet, distorting them, but it did not help, says Kovalenko. Ukrainian marine surplus drones have become a serious threat to Russia because the invaders do not have effective counteraction. This was announced on the air by the TV channel by Alexander Kovalenko, a military-political observer of the Information Resistance group.

According to him, the Russians tried to protect themselves with barges after seeing the presentation of the Underwater Drone "Marichka". "Decided to create a barrier when leaving the Black Sea into the Azov Sea. And how can such a barrier be created if this route should be maintained even in the interests of the Russian country. - says Kovalenko.

Kovalenko noted that in marine surface drones there is technology when it already goes on the target, then artificial intelligence gives the management of a man-operator. It can already choose a specific ship in size or its configuration. The expert noted that the Russians tried to change the contours of their Black Sea Fleet's warships, distorting them, but it does not work as they would like.

"The thing is that at night with appropriate lighting, no matter how you are repainted, still your contours remain unchanged. And this, in principle, is their vulnerable place that it allows to increase the efficiency of use of surface drones in the night time of day. We see that shock helicopters do not always have time to fly to the interception of such non -trapped boats, surface drones, "he explained.
