The training has caught fire: the manufacturer revokes the "Ant" robots delivered

According to the chief engineer of "robotic complexes", the cause of the fire was the defect of the switch of the mass supply. The Ukrainian company "Robotic Complexes" announces a withdrawal campaign for all ground robotic platforms "Murakha" due to the recent fire of the apparatus during training exercises. About it writes dev. ua with reference to the press service of the company.

It is reported that the decision to recall the "ants" was made after careful analysis of the incident associated with the defect of the switch of the supply mass, which led to the ignition of the internal structure of the apparatus. The drone caught fire during the training of operators. According to the chief engineer of "robotic complexes" Sergey Yazvinsky, the problem lies in the sequence of switching off the control panel and switches.

According to him, the military mistakenly turned off only one of the two switches before charging the remote, which led to the operation of engines on residual energy from the capacitors. As a result, due to the incorrect position of the mass switch, the hydraulic system occurred in the hydraulic system, causing local overheating and fire.

Currently, the company calls on all units that have received the drones of "ants", contact it, carry out a complete check of all pieces of equipment and replace the defective part to prevent similar situations in the future. Most of the manufacturer has already contacted on its own. "We guarantee that the safety and reliability of our development is our priority, and we do everything possible to guarantee the safety of operators and their comfortable work on the front," the company added.
