The Russian Army will receive the first MSTA-C SAU Party of the Last Generation: who have improved

This is stated in the press release of the Russian State Corporation "Rostekh". According to sources in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, new self -propelled howitzers 2C19m1 will be deployed in the near future for fighting in Ukraine.

According to Army Recognition Observatives, this event once again demonstrates that the Russian defense industry continues to produce high -pace combat vehicles and equipment, despite the economic and financial sanctions imposed on the country after a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. It should be noted that this is the first batch of modernized SAU, which will come to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, while not indicated in the presents.

Self-propelled howitzer 2C19m1 is equipped with a 152 mm caliber gun with a maximum streaming of eight shots per minute (in the case of basic MSTA-C). The maximum range of system firing is 41 km. In addition, the developers claim that it can shoot controlled "Krasnopol-M" shells, capable of impressing low-size goals at a range of 17 km. One of the main features of 2C19m1 is the new ACV. This system allows you to keep around the clock and all -scale aiming and firing.

It provides an autonomous determination of current coordinates and the automatic calculation of firing installations from hidden positions, as well as the performance of oncoming fire maneuvers. The gun and recovery after firing is carried out automatically, which significantly improves temporary and accurate characteristics, and also facilitates the work of the gunner. According to unconfirmed data, the rapid fire of the upgraded SAU increased to more than 10 shots per minute.

"Automation of the charging process, as well as the choice of projectile type and the release of shooting sleeves in automatic mode reduce the physical exertion on the crew," - the press release says. SAU is equipped with a diesel engine V12 with a capacity of 840 hp. with a mechanical transmission with seven gears forward and one transmission back, which allows howitzers to develop a maximum speed of 60 km/h. In this case, the range is up to 500 km.
