To spread: Russia increases the production of its own aircraft at the Aviation Plant in Kazan, reporters report. According to satellite photos, the Russian Federation has prepared almost 19 thousand square meters, and plans to complete the process of commissioning of these areas at the end of 2026.

The Russian Federation increases the capabilities of the Aviation Plant in Kazan, which specializes in the production of aircraft of different types, including strategic bombers of Tu-95MS and Tu-160, as well as TU-22M3 longitudinal aircraft. Currently, the Russians have erected several new hangars, and their commissioning will take place no earlier than the end of 2026, the Yle Finnish broadcaster reports.

Journalists write that the largest of the new buildings has about 320 meters in length and an area of about 19 thousand square meters, which is equal to the area as almost three football fields. Satellite images are also noticeable construction of other hangars, probably for repairing and maintaining other aircraft. Journalists and interviewed experts are convinced that the reason for such an expansion is the need for a serious investment in their own civil and military aviation.

Open data is also known that the Kazan Aviation Plant will consume about 90 billion rubles (almost UAH 443 billion) for modernization of production. The media now indicate that construction is lagging behind the schedule through sanctions, as well as the lack of labor. These problems are also affected by the production of civilian aviation in the Russian Federation, in particular, the production of TU-214 aircraft is actually torn, because of the 23 ordered machines is now ready.

At the same time, the Kazan airline is the only manufacturer and modernizer of strategic aviation in the Russian Federation. The media adds that the need for expansion also coincided after the SBU was conducted by the Wide Web, as a result of which 41 Russian aircraft had been destroyed or significantly damaged. "Ukraine has managed to destroy and damage strategic bombers during the drones in early June, when the air basements were attacked.

Currently, the Kazan aircraft factory is the only one in Russia that is able to compensate for the deficit of strategic bombers," journalists write. Earlier it was reported how many Russian aircraft lost in Ukraine. According to military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko, the combat aviation of the Russian Federation during a full -scale invasion of Ukraine has suffered heavy casualties that it did not suffer in any other war.
