Kudinov stated that several UBS and Credit Suisse clients who have dual citizenship were faced with this problem. They all allegedly pay taxes in Switzerland and do not receive any income or pay taxes in Russia. According to information from Ivan Tikhonenko's lawmaster, one of the Swiss banks refused to open accounts to some Israeli citizens who retained the Russian passport.

He added that banks demanded a documentary confirmation of the abandonment of Russian citizenship for further cooperation with the clients of the firm.
