The Ukrainian spokesman asks Congressmen to support Ukraine's requests to provide Centurion C-RAM air defense systems to fight the Iranian Drone-Kamikadze. They will be able to protect power plants from attacks. The Defense Express writes that C-RAM will be able to destroy not only Shahd-136 drones, but also winged rockets and uncontrollable reactive shells. The complex is equipped with its own RLS station and optical and heat module.
Due to this, the complex can capture and accompany the target independently. The operator will also know the optimal time to open the fire, or the system will strike the object itself. High speed, 4,500 shots per minute, capable of "cutting the target". The fire is conducted by 20-mm balls of six-piece weapons. Shooting range is one and a half kilometers, but, as they write in the edition, the Armed Forces have already shown the efficiency of use of different weapons.
The only possible nuance is that it is unknown how many states have these complexes. Open sources do not have information about the number of C-RAM. However, it is accepted that after the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan in the states, a lot of Centurion C-RAM. We will remind, Ukraine asks the US C-RAM system to combat Iranian drones.
