"Despite the fact that the last ten years have been in terrorist attacks and houses have been destroyed due to household gas leakage, the number of explosions did not exceed 20 annually, and the number of victims was calculated by hundreds and not thousands," - the newspaper said.
The largest number of victims was recorded in 2017, when a 9-storey residential building exploded in Izhevsk through the gas leakage and a terrorist attack occurred in St. Petersburg. During 2022, according to the Ministry of Emergencies, residential buildings, warehouses and mines exploded. An explosion on the Crimean bridge also got into the statistics. The most common cause of explosions-55 out of 83, is called explosive objects (bombs, missiles, mines, grenades).
Thus, the increase in the number of explosions in 2022 is directly related to combat. Also, the EMC statistics, if they do not make up a state, get explosions in production, car explosions and more. We will remind that on August 9 near Moscow there was a large-scale explosion in the territory of the Optical and Mechanical Plant.
