This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the State Department's website writes. According to him, the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces is at its beginning. Thus, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine still plan to apply the main group of forces. At the same time, as Blinken said, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prepared defensive borders for several months. However, Ukrainian forces will be able to overcome them with the help of allies from the West.

"Only yesterday we announced additional assistance to Ukraine. They have what they need for success," the US Department Representative added. Blinken stated that the attempt of the military rebellion of the head of PEC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigogine also created additional factors that can help Ukraine perform a successful operation. However, according to the US official, the main events related to the Counter -offensive of the Armed Forces can be observed later - within weeks or even months.
