It is noted that Ukrainian refugees live in the Czech Republic on the basis of temporary protection, which continues annually. In the event of ceasefire or end of the war, temporary protection will end the next day, but they will be able to stay in the country for a certain period of time. They will apply the same rules as other foreigners - Ukrainians will be able to apply for temporary residence or political asylum.

In general, according to polls, the country does not want to leave about half of all Ukrainians. Some of them may change their opinion, but a large number of people can still enter the country. At the same time, they will also help the Ukrainians who will decide to stay here, organize their move to another country," the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
