Sanctions do not work: Germany equipment for ammunition is entered to the Russian Federation - the media

According to SWR, German products are actively using companies that supply the Russian army with engines and aircraft details. Among them are "Parsec", "KAMAZ", Nir and "Provisional Small". Despite sanctions, German companies continue to supply Russia for military production.

The SWR Television Company analyzed customs documents, as well as photos and videos that show that in 2023, more than 300 machines were supplied to the Russian Federation that can be used for the production of vehicles or ammunition. About it writes Tagesschau. For the most part, these are large industrial machines or so -called CNC machines (numerical software control) that automatically perform various operations, such as steel cutting, flexion of metal sheets or welding.

Such machines are key to the production of components for vehicles, aircraft and ammunition. According to the expert of the Council for Economic Security of Ukraine Elena Yurchenko, about 80% of CNC machines in Russia are used in military production today. She notes that with their help, Moscow can make weapons faster and more accurately. Germany is one of the leaders in the production of such machines, having up to 30% of the market in Russia.

German equipment is used by Russian companies "Parsek", "KAMAZ", NIR, which, according to the available data, "supplies Russian military aviation and missile engines" and "Promzhilennye. " According to SWR investigation, much of the cars came to Russia through Turkey. About two -thirds of deliveries in 2023 were made precisely through Turkish intermediaries, some of which have direct links with Russia or were founded by Russian entrepreneurs.

The Benjamin Gilgenstok Sanction Expert from the Kiev School of Economics calls for increased control over the export of such machines. He emphasizes that bypassing sanctions is extremely profitable for intermediaries, but more rigid measures could significantly reduce this process. Recall, on October 3, The Insider wrote that the Russian Federation uses high -quality American, German and Swiss details to develop the EWS systems.
