The publication refers to Rosstat's information, according to which, for the first half of the year 2025, a total amount of 18. 4 trillion rubles received 43 thousand organizations, and almost 19 thousand-reported on losses, which amounted to more than 5 trillion rubles. Experts point out that mostly in developed countries the share of unprofitable companies does not go beyond the range of 10-20%. The 30% indicator is not critical, but quite high.
It testifies to systemic problems with a number of industries. For example, coal, waste disposal, as well as water supply and sewerage industry are facing the greatest losses. The sphere of passenger transport and the scientific industry were also unprofitable (half of the companies and even more are unprofitable in these sectors). The situation in the construction and production of durable goods is difficult - because Russia does not withstand competition with China.
Long -term goods include cars, household appliances and industrial equipment. The increase in the share of unprofitable companies is indicated on tax revenues and investment activity. Banks are forced to restructure loans more often, and the state is to subsidize unprofitable industries. Those companies that managed to "survive" in such conditions raise prices, and in the end, it poses a threat of "acceleration" of inflation. It also became known that China and Russia will build a new gas pipeline.
