Wagons, gas station and shopping mall: Russians and Belarusians lost assets in Ukraine for UAH 44 billion

It is noted that the property was transferred to the ARMA with an approximate value of UAH 1 billion, of which UAH 238 million has already been sold for state income. Ukraine continues to arrest assets related to Russian and Belarusian business. Since February 24, law enforcement officers arrested the assets of these countries for UAH 44 billion, the press service of the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab).

"Baby detectives carry out pre -trial investigations in 22 criminal proceedings in economic offenses, most often it is evasion of taxes," the statement said. In particular, the following assets were arrested: the bureau noted that the confiscation and seizure of assets of unfriendly countries to Ukraine takes place within the framework of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

It provides for a single procedure for handling property: first, its seizure, and then the court decision and transfer of assets to the management or property of the state. "Currently, the property has been transferred to the ARMA with an approximate value of UAH 1 billion, of which UAH 238 million has already been sold in revenue," the Bureau of Economic Security was added.
