Dear participants and guests of the conference! Ladies and Gentlemen! Dear prese...

All 462 days we fight for our future, and therefore - for our children, for their will and their fate - a speech of the President of Ukraine at the UA: War. Non -Singing Lullaby ”on the occasion of International Children's Day

Dear participants and guests of the conference! Ladies and Gentlemen! Dear present! Dear journalists, public figures! “A person has a train and rage - to destroy and kill. Until humanity is undergoing great changes, war will be over. Everything that has been built and grown will be destroyed and distorted, after which humanity will have to start over… ”for many years, 80 years. These words belong to a person known all over the world, a person who, in many, has changed history.

She is not a politician, not a religious figure, not a scientist, not an artist and, perhaps, most importantly, not an adult. These are the words of the child. 13-year-old girl Anna Frank. The diary she kept in a storage during the Nazi occupation for two years. But did not warn.

And the proof of this is the emergence of a new terrible children's diary in the 21st century, written by an eight -year -old boy Yegor in the blockade of Ukrainian Mariupol, who was then destroyed by the troops of the Russian Federation. The overall situation of protecting the rights of children during such a war and, in fact, the main issues of this important conference actually reflects this diary. Without jewelry, briefly, very simple and at the same time very painful words.

He, this diary, begins as follows: “War. I slept well, woke up and smiled. " We live in a time when children are happiness. When every night there are sirens of air anxiety, and just sleep - it's happiness, it is valuable. When rocket attacks and wake up in the morning - it's really invaluable. It lasts 15 months. Russian aggression, terror for 15 months destroy not just buildings, but fundamental human rights are the fundamental rights of our children.

The right to a safe environment and the environment, to education, the right to development, to health care, the right to rest, leisure, and, most importantly, an integral and most important right of a child to life. The right that Russia has taken away from at least 483 Ukrainian children, and these are only the fates that we know with you.

It is worthwhile to always call things by their names - and I am a fan of this - and not by some official formulations, which, in my personal view, somewhat distort the truth, blur the essence and soften the horror of all what Russia did and what it does. Russia has killed - and that is why such formulations will have me - Russia has killed 483 children at least. Killed. This is not something that can be called "they were victims of Russian aggression" or "they died as a result of armed conflict.

" No! Russia killed these children. Almost a thousand children were crippled. And it is impossible to say "they were injured as a result of hostilities. " The boy Yegor from Mariupol knows this pain. This is the following memories from his diary. And especially creepy when you realize that these words are written by children's handwriting. “I have a wound on my back, skin. The sister has a head injury. Mom has a meat on the arm and a wound on the leg . . .

”Continuing to name things by their names, one should say another consequence of the aggression of the Russian Federation. These are millions of families and children whose home has destroyed Russia completely consciously. And it cannot be said that "they have lost housing because of appropriate fighting. " It is important to say what really happened. Russia has destroyed the house of millions of people. Millions of crippled destinies, millions of broken dreams.

Or easier, tough, as in the diary of Egora's eight -year -old boy: "My grandmother Galya died, two dogs and a favorite city of Mariupol . . . " Unfortunately, we know that there are a lot of such cities and villages in Ukraine. Erased from the face of the earth. Entire quarters, streets, houses, under the rubble of which Russia buried the concept of "children's rights". All attacked them - from the very birth to the world to the age of majority.

These are missiles that hit the maternity hospital in Mariupol and the maternity hospital in Kherson. Kindergartens in Okhtyrka, Slavyansk, the village of Lugansk and more than a thousand kindergartens throughout our country. Schools in Kramatorsk, Lozova, Temporal Yar, Lyceum in Kryvyi Rih, Gymnasium in Nikolaev and a total of 1,300 schools throughout our territory. Children's Hospital "Okhmatdit", Children's Regional Clinical Hospital in Kherson and more than a thousand medical facilities.

Children's House in Druzhkivka, Center for Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in Kherson, Schools for Children with Special Educational Needs, for Hearing impaired children in Zaporizhzhya region and visual impairments in Kharkiv. The Palace of Children and Youth in Bakhmut, in our strong Bakhmut. Children's Library in Nikopol. Children and youth sports schools throughout the country: Severodonetsk, Marinka, Rubizhne, in Bashtanka. Stadiums in Chernihiv, in Nikolaev.

Ice arena in Kharkiv and Mariupol. Halls, fields, swimming pools, hundreds of other objects where our children were engaged in different sports. And… thousands and thousands of children who have been stolen, are detached from their relatives and illegally deported into the territory of Russia. We do not know the exact number - unfortunately, this is true, so far - how many of our children. But we know that we have to return them all.

We know that we have to restore rights and safety for all Ukrainian children. Our state is making every effort to bring Ukrainian children back to bring them back to their normal lives to bring our children home to Ukraine. An important step was taken yesterday. And I want to use such words today, to support and congratulate the Center for Rescue and Protection of Ukrainian Children - our staff and protection of children.

The platform on which the efforts of state and international institutions can be combined to implement the strategy of protection and safety of Ukrainian children Bring Kids Back UA.

This is a detailed and step -by -step plan of action - an approved action plan - which involves the return of children deported by Russia, their reintegration, socialization, humanitarian assistance, very important psychological support, implementation of modern educational initiatives, work on fixing all the crimes committed against our children and necessarily - prosecution for them, the development of family forms of education and a number of actions to ensure every right of every Ukrainian child.

Actually, all this is the meaning of our conference, what should be discussed today. In addition, this conference will start a number of important international events, including Sweden, Norway and other countries. I think today the team will tell you that the Ombudsman will definitely say. We will unite the world for the sake of restoring safety for Ukrainian children.

We all understand that the restoration and realization of all the rights of our children - in full and at a quality, higher level - can only give our fair victory. And we understand it. Full de -occupation of all our territories. Full safety in peaceful cities and villages. Therefore, the corresponding support of Ukraine in the world-weapons and equipment, air defense, pressure on the terrorist state in all directions . . .

Normal life, European life, life of an independent state with ensuring all human rights and all the rights of our Ukrainian children. We will stand to the end and we will never lower our hands and fall in spirit. I think the whole world is already aware of it. Just as the eight -year -old boy did not give up all the way. And it is much more difficult for him than many of us. This is true, he is just a good fellow. “I woke up. Well, like yesterday, smiled. Grandma went on the water. Returned.

By the way, I have a birthday soon . . . ”Ladies and gentlemen! Ensuring the rights of each child begins from birth, the emergence of the world that humanity has built over the years - a world that, unfortunately, is full of such catastrophes, such rage, such wars. Full of such disasters. Each child should have an unconditional and inalienable right, regardless of the date of birth.

This year, in this century or through many generations - every child must have the right of birth in a safe, peaceful and, most importantly, in the free world. Guaranteeing this right is our duty with you. All free states, all conscientious leaders. And it is for such a world that we are fighting today. And it is these rights for each child that we protect nine years and 462 days. We repel Russian aggression.

And quite often we emphasize: we protect not only Ukraine - and we really want not only we are aware of it - but also all the free Europe, the whole free world, the rights of all free people. And it is objective, deserved, not just diplomatically - it is frankly, human and very honest. But at the same time it is not decisive. Because first of all we protect children. All our children. Since February 24, for us, children's protection is every day. All 462 days of a full -scale war.

462 days of our battle - primarily for our future, so for children. For their will and their fate. For Ukraine we will leave them. Europe we will build together. The world in which they will live freely. Today we are fighting for what the world will be. That is why, when we say, "Our children", we mean not only Ukrainians and Ukrainian women. We fight together for children - for absolutely all children, for all the next generations, for their rights and freedoms.

What we call "tomorrow" is what we want to build and pass. What we call the future and can only imagine, for them will be the present and realities that they will inherit us. We will rebuild everything that the Russian invaders have destroyed. We will do everything to make every Ukrainian child go home, to Ukraine, to his city, his yard, in his home, his room, his bed, in his childhood. Return to a normal life where there will be no war.
