The state -owned enterprise with access to the data of Ukrainians works with a company founded by a citizen of the Russian Federation

According to the reporters of the Radio Svoboda project, the state -owned enterprise "Document" concluded a contract with Schmider & Eckstein two years ago, one of the founders of which calls Russia as his "second homeland". The Ukrainian State Enterprise "Document", which has access to the personal data of Ukrainian citizens, in the fall of 2022 concluded an agreement on the representation of interests in Germany with Schmider & Eckstein.

But it turned out that both of its co -founders worked in the Russian Federation. And after a full -scale invasion, it turned out that one of them is a Russian citizen who supports the Kremlin's policy and approves full -scale aggression. This is stated in the investigation of Radio Liberty.

The journalists of the project "Are you like?" Schmider & ECKSEIN has been found for more than 20 years providing services to clients from "Russia, Central and Eastern Europe" who want to open a business in Germany, as well as in migration, accompanying the whole process. The Ukrainian state -owned enterprise "Document" was established in 2003 and since June 2011 by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is in the field of management of the LCA of Ukraine.

The main purpose of the enterprise is to introduce new services and standards of service provision, to create modern conditions for servicing Ukrainian citizens, foreigners and stateless persons. Currently, the Document has 12 offices in six countries. Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion, its income has increased significantly. But the State Judicial Service found a violation of UAH 84 million in early 2024.

And some facts from the activities of state -owned enterprises are investigated by law enforcement. But these are not the only issues to the state enterprise. In Germany, where the most Ukrainian refugees live, the Document cooperates with Schmider & Eckstein. Both Schmider and School have been collaborating with Russia for a long time and continue to do so.

The co -founder of Karl Ekstein calls Russia with his "second homeland" and indicates a biography on the website of a company that has cooperated with Moscow for 40 years. Karl School also held the position of Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Switzerland.

The lawyer is part of the International Association of Friends of Crimea - an association created in the occupied Crimea in 2017, with the help of so -called agents of influence to legalize the annexation of the Ukrainian peninsula and advocate the removal of sanctions against the Russian Federation. Karl Usstein justifies the invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine. The School states that Putin "returned to the Russians with a sense of pride.

" Journalists found that for 20 years, Charles Extraine is a citizen of the Russian Federation, and received a new passport in 2019. Frank Schmider - lives and provides its services in Berlin. However, the reports of the Scheme project with the help of Russian registers and databases found that at least since 2001 the Schmider has the individual tax number of the Russian Federation. He also worked in St. Petersburg for a long time. He even published a book about doing business in Russia.

Nevertheless, in 2022, the Ukrainian State Enterprise "Document" concluded an agreement on representing interests in Germany with Schmider & Eckstein. The journalists of the project "Are you like?" They got acquainted with copies of the power of attorney and letters sent by the law company to the clients of the state -owned enterprise and found that Schmider and School had virtually unlimited access in particular to the personal data of those men who updated their data abroad.

The state -owned enterprise "Document" assured that Schmider & Eckstein access was limited to "data necessary to represent the interests of the enterprise" or to conduct cases in courts. They also assured that no one in the law firm "had access to the Unified State Demographic Register or Personal Data of Citizens. " But Transparency International Ukraine lawyers, having read the proxy, noted that the powers of the law company are "quite extensive".

Volodymyr Shvachko, Expenditure Director of SE "Document", who concluded a contract with Schmider & Eckstein, told reporters that he "did not remember" whom he cooperated with and threw the tube. Recall that at the end of July, journalists of the Project "Schemes" investigated one of the networks of microcredit organizations that work throughout Ukraine.
