On the night of December 13, the Russian military launched missiles in the capital from the area of the settlement of clincies in the Bryansk region, not far from the border with the Chernihiv region. From such a distance - more than 250 kilometers - the sight of the use of missiles of this type is impossible.
As a result of the use of these managed missiles for land purposes is chaotic. "Using them is not aimed, the Russians are primarily intended to inflict psychological pressure on the population of Ukraine, add panic and force the Ukrainian authorities to negotiations with the Russian Federation," the statement reads. According to the Center, the C-400 anti-aircraft managed missile moves at a speed of about 1300 m/s, while the distance from launch to Kiev it overcomes in less than two minutes.
As a result, Ukrainian air defense has time to detect and destroy the air target, but the alert system cannot work so quickly, so sometimes the alarm signal works with delay. "So the people of Kiev should continue to be prepared for such chaotic launches and in the case of announcement of air anxiety in the shelter," - added in the message. We will remind, at night from 12 to 13 December the Russian military could attack Kiev with the help of anti-aircraft missiles issued by the C-400 "Triumph".
