According to him, all our special services are now at an altitude: the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR), the External Intelligence Service (CZR) of Ukraine, the State Security Service of Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that for some reason the external intelligence service is very rarely mentioned in open sources.
"Meanwhile, it is also very large-scale work, not so much internal as external, and rarely when it is mentioned in open sources," Kovalenko emphasized. The military-political observer believes that now Ukraine, with the support of international partners, has taken some initiative in the structures of the Russian Federation, such as: the main intelligence department of the General Staff of the Russian Federation (GRU), the Federal Security Service (FSB), Foreign Intelligence Service (CCR).
"Russian power structures, which from 2014 to 2022, still two or three steps were ahead of our work, but now all back. Now completely different conditions. They are behind the work of Ukrainian special services. And this is a vivid demonstration that Ukraine is now writing A completely new story, ”said Alexander Kovalenko. He also recalled that at one time everyone was fond of the external reconnaissance service of the Mossad Israel.
