More than 100 thousand UAH: People's Deputy has pledged for a monk of the UOC suspected of justifying Russian aggression

According to MP Artem Dmitruk, the pledge for the Archdeacon Paul does not abolish his duties in the form of a ban on leaving Kiev and wearing a bracelet. People's Deputy Artem Dmitruk made pledge for the monk of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Archdeacon Paul (Muzychuk), who was suspected of justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This was reported by the UOC Information and Educational Department on February 15.

The press service reported that the meeting on the election of a preventive measure of Archdew Pavel was held on February 13 in the Solomenskiy District Court of Kyiv. It is reported that the monks are accused of organizing provocations in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. As a preventive measure, the court has assigned a pledge of UAH 121,000 and wearing an electronic bracelet. According to the UOC, on February 15, People's Deputy Dmitruk made a pledge.

People's Deputy Artem Dmitruk wrote a short message in his Telegram-channel on February 15: "The pledge was made. " Earlier, on February 13, he also stated that a reduction in the collateral from half a million to 121 thousand hryvnias is a "good news". He noted that the pledge does not cancel the duties assigned to the monk - a ban on leaving Kiev and wearing a bracelet.

"But if they do not make the pledge within 5 days, then the preventive measure will be selected again - perhaps one will not be limited to the pledge of prosecutors in their petitions," Dmitruk added. The deputy also mentioned that on February 9, the SBU conducted searches in the cell of the Archdeacon Paul, soon after which he was declared suspected of justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

We will remind, on February 9 the media reported that representatives of the SBU conducted a search in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. According to journalists, the staff of the department came to the clergyman, who, according to them, coordinated the production actions of protest while returning the property of Lavra to state property. On the same day, the SBU presented the suspicion of the UOC Cleric from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
