Helped the Russian Federation to build warships: a company from Denmark was declared an international sponsor of war
The reason for this was the fundamental decision of the company to continue its operations in the Russian market even after the start of a full -scale war. This is done through intermediaries through which Rockwool products are supplied to state -owned companies of the Russian Federation, including orders from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The NAPC noted that Rockwool products were used during the construction and repair of Navy ships.
In particular: "Information about such contracts is available from 2014 to 2021. During the years after the annexation of Crimea, Rockwool has put ash materials at least 31 ships and submarines of the Russian fleet, including cruisers, destroyers, atomic submarines, frigates, troal ships, landing ships, landing ships. And reconnaissance ships, " - the message reads.
A total of at least 52 contracts between Rockwool distributors and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have been allocated. In addition, in April 2022, the company officially declared its intention to continue its operations in the Russian market. "Rockwool has been operating in the Russian Federation since 1995 and has four plants. It holds 1,200 jobs in Russia, which is about 10% of the company employees," the NAPC said.
