Improved Russian drone can destroy armored vehicles by attacking it from above in a dive mode, the manufacturer says. The Russian Concern "Kalashnikov" showed the staff of tests of the modernized ammunition for the barge "CUB", which took place in June 2024 at the landfill of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The manufacturer posted the corresponding video in his Telegram channel. It is reported that UAV "cube" is designed to defeat ground targets from above.

In particular, the device can destroy armored equipment. In the video you can see the drone flying from the catapult and strikes on the ground in a dive mode. The UAV explodes next to the dummies, causing them to be fragile. The stated technical characteristics of the drone "CUB": the manufacturer states that every year increases the rate of production of drones. UAVs are made within the framework of the state defense order.

"Improve the line of managed bargage ammunition is carried out through close interaction with the customer: it is currently supplied by modernized versions of UBB" CUB "of increased power," - said the representative of the concern. We will remind, the drone "cube" with the structure "Flying wing" is manufactured by the Russian company Zala Aero, which is part of the concern "Kalashnikov".

The developers claim that the drone can be disappeared in the air, seeking the target by the coordinates given, and then hit it in the dive mode. Last November, the manufacturer stated that he strengthened the battle part of the drone "CUB" and plans to increase his flight range in the near future. In December of that year, the President of the Kalashnikov concern Alan Lushnikov reported that the first party of modified UAVs "KUB" was shipped by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
