"Physically cannot be distinguished": the military explained how and why the Armed Forces stuff their drones

Ukrainians do not have enough coordination for the use of antitrone rifles and "trenches" in the heat of battle. In the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the situation is different, because they use other frequencies. The day before, the Ukrainian serviceman Alexander Karpyuk (Serg Marco) declared the great loss of drones due to the "friendly fire" of air defense forces (air defense) and radio electronic wrestling (EIT) that reach millions of dollars.

The military expert on communication and unmanned technologies Sergey Beskrestnov with the call sign "Flash" in the comment of the focus confirmed the presence of such a problem and told how it can be eliminated. According to him, a friendly fire is one of the main reasons for the fall of the drone of Ukraine's defense forces, and everyone knows about it at the front. The big problem is that many military people do not coordinate their activities with the OPP operators and other units.

During the war, there were cases where even manned aviation was attacked by friendly fire. "Interaction, the organizational process is, but of course, it must be improved that our drones do not fall. The most common cause of their fall is small means of" trenches "Reb, some unit, without understanding, can attack their own UAVs from an antitrone gun, taking it. for hostile.

Here, for example, a separate unit sits, which for their money bought an antitrone gun, they will not be for every drone to go to the headquarters and find out - ours or not ours. We are not talking about the "big" rb set up on machines because it is well organized. Operators of such complexes try to communicate with pilots, give them "corridors", " - explained Sergei Beskrestnov.

There are technologies in Ukraine that allow to distinguish their and Russian devices, but the military cannot determine for sure if several drones fly at the same time. In less lively areas of the front, for example, on the borders of the Chernihiv and Sumy region, it is much easier to distinguish them, and where active fights continue, and between positions, sometimes, several hundred drones, all hundreds of drones are much more complicated.

"In this case, it is physically impossible to accurately determine the belongings of the UAV in a particular place. Even if we put on all the drones some beacons or sensors, there will be units that will not do it for one reason or another," Sergei Flash added. According to him, there are already some software -based software fragments on the basis of software, HR and unmanned aviation in Ukraine, but the details of the development are kept secret.

Sergei himself also participated in one of the useful projects. Each drone, flying in the air, transmits its ID (number) - this is provided by protocols of absolutely all commercial devices: Mavic, Autel, etc. , and the military created a single register, where they brought the ID tens of thousands of Ukrainian drones. "Thanks to this we understand the fronts where, but we cannot say 100%:" This is not ours.

"Because it can be a unit that did not join the system, did not provide data on its UAVs, so it is not possible Beat it completely on this information. It is rather a general understanding of what is happening, "the military said. In the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the situation is somewhat different. Russian civilian quadcopters fly at the same frequencies as the FPV-roma, so it is a little easier for them with their Qu.

If the Ukrainian forces suppress the frequencies that coincide with FPV, and our pilots sometimes suffer from it, then the Russians do not "blazes" their own frequencies over their territory, so they have problems less often. "The most important way to reduce the loss of drones through a friendly fire is to force absolutely all units to interact in this environment. Even the smallest, if they use a rob, so that they do not knock down everything in a row.
