Russian prospective UAV C-70 "hunting" will appear on the front soon: what is the reason

According to Analytics, Maya Carlin, Russian developers regularly come across difficulties in the implementation of stealth technologies. The situation is also aggravated by the economic restrictions caused by Western sanctions. The Russian stel-free C-70 "hunting", developed by the company "Sukhoy" and the Russian Aviation Corporation "Mihi", most likely, will not soon go to the series and, accordingly, will not be involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Problems with mass production of promising Russian UAVs are related to the complexities of stealth technologies, as well as with economic restrictions caused by Western sanctions. This conclusion was reached by the Maya Carlin analyst in National Interest. The publication states that the developers planned that the C-70 serial production would begin in the second half of 2024. However, these terms seem unlikely.

The fact is that in February 2024, the Russian Federation conducted the latest well-known flight tests of the stealth leisure, after which the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation talked about supply in the near future a large number of these UAVs. However, Russia is systematically faced with difficulties in the production of devices using advanced stealth technologies, and proof of its competence in this field remains a constant problem for the Russian Federation.

A striking example of this is the "advanced" Su-57 fighter, which periodically is criticized by Western experts on its stels-characteristic. Carlin notes that achieving the necessary experience and accurately projecting on a large scale requires considerable effort. But economic sanctions on the part of Western countries are very exacerbated by financial difficulties, adding difficulties to the production process.
