Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Sirsky visited Thursday, February 29, in military units in the Avdiiv and Kurakhiv directions. In the report, he emphasized such key tasks of Ukrainian fighters as defense and maintenance of the boundaries and restoration of lost positions. He noted that it is here that the Armed Forces brigades are brutal with the predominant forces of Russian troops, which carry significant losses in live power and technology, but stubbornly continue to attack Ukrainian positions, which sometimes brings success to the occupiers in individual areas.

"My main task is to effectively use the combat capabilities of weapons and military equipment of our units to cause maximum losses to the enemy and the destruction of a large part of his artillery and armored vehicles; to keep the positions occupied and restore the position where we departed," the general said. Syrsky emphasized that in order to strengthen the defense in the main directions it is necessary to distribute our reserves.
