The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak noted that our country will welcome the participation of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries in the future of the Peace Summit. He said this in an interview with the news TV channel Al-Hadat (Saudi Arabia). “It is important for Ukraine that the Arab world knows the truth about what is happening in Ukraine today, as Ukrainians have been fighting for more than a year against the Russian invasion.

We are fighting for our freedom, independence, for our land and our people. We didn't start this war. Act of aggression was carried out against us, ”Andrei Yermak stressed. According to him, Ukraine seeks to convey to the countries of the Arab world how it sees the end of this war, how to protect the states of the world from such aggression, and, in particular, to convey the formula of peace proposed by President Vladimir Zelensky.

“This formula is fully based on the principles of international law and the UN Charter. And we will greet the participation of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries in the future of the Peace Summit, in which leaders from all over the world will be able to find a solution on the basis of the formula of President Zelensky's peace on how to finish this war in the center of Europe, ”Andrey Yermak said.

Andriy Yermak emphasized that even in difficult circumstances, Ukraine is concerned with global problems, in particular the issues of world food security, which is facilitated by the initiative of President Vladimir Zelensky "Grain from Ukraine" (Grain Form Ukraine).
