According to the representative of Andrei Demchenko's department, it is impossible to talk about the daily measures of the DRG in the Sumy region, but several groups a week are still exposed. Russian invaders on the northern border of Ukraine mainly apply measures of their own sabotage and intelligence groups (DRG) to the Ukrainian territory in Sumy region.

He spoke about it on May 2 at a briefing at the Media Center "Ukraine-Ukrinform" by a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SPSU) Andriy Demchenko. He noted that earlier the activity of saboteurs was observed in the Kharkiv region, but now the number of crossings of the border has decreased here, but the number of shelling of Kharkiv region has increased significantly. As for Chernihiv region, in this region, according to Demchenko, DRGs are not recorded and shoot less.

The spokesman added that it is impossible to talk about DRG's daily measures, but several groups a week are still exposed. But what characterizes the northern borders, it is daily massive shelling from Russia with the use of various means of defeat and involvement of aviation. Recently, according to Demchenko, most shelling falls in Kharkiv region, a little less - in Sumy region and even less - to Chernihiv region.

"Only in March, border outfits in the Sumy region recorded 3,500 shelling, and it is only shelling, and the shells are actually even more," the spokesman explained. Other areas in the east of the country cannot really be considered borders, it is more likely to demarcate lines, Demchenko said. He noted that the fighters of defense forces, which include the border units, have not yet reached the internationally recognized real borders of Ukraine.

However, in many directions, the eastern border units hold the proper positions, despite the considerable number of stormtroopers, tanks and heavy armored vehicles of the enemy. As for the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, the situation is stable here, the representative of the State Tax Service of Ukraine said. He emphasized that there is no action (movement of equipment and personnel) regarding the preparation of the Belarusian army for any action, and Russian troops in Belarus are not recorded.
