In Russia, after the UAV attack, the Astrakhan gas processing plant stopped work

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, a fire continues on the Astrakhan GPP. The governor of the region claims that the plant allegedly stopped the work, "receiving early signals about the danger of UAV. " On the night of February 3, units of the Special Operations of the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine, in coordination with other forces of defense, were affected by strategic objects in Russia.

Under the attack were the Volgograd oil refining plant ("Lukoil-Volgogradnafrobrocy") and Astrakhansky gas processing plant. This was reported at the General Staff of the Armed Forces. These enterprises are producers of a large amount of fuel for the Russian occupation army. According to preliminary data, the plant in the Volgograd region, in particular, damaged the installations of primary oil processing. At Astrakhan GPZ, a fire is ongoing, the work of the enterprise is stopped.

The head of the CPD Andriy Kovalenko noted that the Astrakhan gas processing plant is one of the largest Gazprom plants. The General Staff added that the exact scale of the lesion is currently specified. According to the governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin, the plant stopped the work, "receiving early signals about the danger of UAV. " He argues that it "made it possible to prevent emissions and avoid damage to chemical hazards.

" The factory employee told the governor that the combined gas condensate processing installation was damaged. We will remind, on February 3 the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation declared the alleged destruction of 70 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Rostov, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Voronezh, Belgorod and Kursk regions. Six airports had restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft.
