The current geographical coordinates were established by the USSR Radmin in 1985...

The Russian Federation has decided to move the border with Lithuania and Finland: what they planned in the Kremlin

The current geographical coordinates were established by the USSR Radmin in 1985. According to the Russians, they do not fully correspond to the modern environment and do not allow to determine the border of inland sea water. The Russian Federation decided to unilaterally change the maritime borders with Lithuania and Finland. This was reported by The Moscow Times with reference to the project of government resolutions.

Thus, in the Baltic Sea of the Russian Federation wants to change the borders, namely to declare its inland waters part of the water area in the east of the Gulf and near the Baltic and Zelenogradskaya in the Kaliningrad region. To do this, the geographical coordinates of the points that determine the position of the output lines from which the width of the Russian territorial sea and the adjacent territory off the coast and islands will be changed.

The Russians plan to change the coordinates on the border with Finland in the zone of the islands of Yaii, Sommers, Dutland, Rodsher, Small Tutus, Vicund and near the North Incoming Cape of the Narva River. On the border with Lithuania, changes are expected in the Kursk braid area, Cape Taras and Baltic Spit.

The authors of the project noted that the current geographical coordinates, which were established by the USSR Radmin in 1985, "do not fully correspond to the modern geographical environment. " After all, they were recorded on marine navigation maps of small scale, which are based on the work of the mid -XX century, and therefore it allegedly "does not allow to determine the external border of inland waters.

" The Russian Federation proposes new changes to establish a previously missing system of direct output lines on the southern part of the Russian islands in the east of the Gulf of Finnish and in the Baltic and Zelenograd area. They also plan to change the passage of the State Border of the Russian Federation at sea. Whereas the statement of the USSR Council of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation proposes partially to "recognize the invalid", in particular, the section "Baltic Sea".

We will remind, on May 8 in the media reported that Finland has strategic plans for what to do in the event of a war with the Russian Federation. In particular, the state began to store equipment and equipment abroad. On April 10, it became known that 100 kilometers from the Russian border in the south of Finland plan to create a new headquarters of NATO Land Forces. In addition, the city of Mikkel has a high readiness headquarters, which is in an operative state around the clock.
