Who does not believe in victory: 46% of Ukrainians expect to success in the Armed Forces in the winter of 2024 - a survey

The survey showed that young people have less optimism about the events on the front that will happen in the coming months. Also, young people are more set to continue a full life, even in war conditions. The sociological group "Rating" conducted 25 national survey "Ukraine in the conditions of war". To do this, they turned to the Ukrainians and asked about their expectations of developments in the winter of 2024.

They found that almost half of the citizens believe that winter fights for Ukrainian soldiers will be successful. A detailed description of the survey results is given in the article on the social group "Rating". The article states that the researchers have made 1 thousand telephone interviews. 46% of Ukrainians have positive expectations about events on the front in the coming winter. However, they have negative expectations in the economy - 34% predict problems.

Sociologists have noted that different age groups of the population see future winter fighting differently. In particular, those who believe in winter successes of the Armed Forces are more than people over 50 years of age - 52%. Meanwhile, young people with the same mood are slightly less - 38%, and the rest of the youth do not believe in it. One of the questions that people asked was the potential for occupation.

Residents of front and liberated territories do not believe that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will move forward: this is afraid of a fifth of the respondents (20%). Residents of Kyiv region and central regions are afraid even less - only every tenth. The attitude to war and its impact and consequences among people living in different regions and have different levels of income is also a bit different.

For example, a large part of residents of Kyiv region and the de -industrial territories would like to continue to live a full life. Meanwhile, residents of the western regions are ready to restrict themselves more. In general, there are restrictions on 60% of respondents, sociologists said. They also indicated that young and wealthy are planned to live a fulfilling life, and self -restraint is older and poorer.

Researchers indicated that they conducted a representative survey, taking into account the distribution by age, article, region of residence. The phone numbers for communication were chosen by randomly. The survey error is 3. 1%. The poll date is November 22-23, 2023. Earlier, the focus cited the results of the rating survey on possible power outages. They found that 75% of Ukrainians are preparing for this: they buy generators, powerbank, flashlights, make water and food reserves.

They also found that most of these stocks will have enough a week: just as many time citizens plan to stay in homes under the conditions of "Blacka". Meanwhile, on October 31, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology interviewed citizens on the level of support of various state institutions. In particular, they were interested in whether they trust the All -Ukrainian TEMACHUN.
