"Starting this week, prisoners are preparing an old form for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The goal is to collect about 30,000 units of form for reuse in the conflict zone," the statement said. The Defense Ministry noted that most soldiers in the Netherlands are now going in a new intermediate combat suit, which means that all the old suits have served their own and do not fall under warehouses.
Therefore, the Working Group of the Ministry of Defense, which deals with the military support of the Armed Forces, saw the opportunity to reuse costumes. "The prisoners will start working in industrial premises, which have several tens of thousands of jobs. They will inspect, inspect, sort, wash and prepare clothes for use in Ukraine," the message reads. The Defense Ministry also specified that they had already transported the first 76 pallets with equipment to Almelo prison.
