The occupiers claim that LPK-101 "Kretchet" can be used, in particular, to destroy Ukrainian Baba Baba Baba Bombard drones. The Russian Federation tested the night thermal imaging complex of LPK-101 "Kretchet", designed to combat non-extinguished boats and unmanned aerial vehicles. The corresponding staff was published by Russian "Military Expert" Boris Rozhin in his Telegram channel on July 15. The propagandist stated that the tests were held in the occupied Crimean peninsula.

According to him, the LPK-101 "Kretchet" is "useful and promising" development. The published footage shows how Russian invaders fire over the water, using the mentioned sighting complex. The publication of the Russian Information Agency "RIA Novosti" of June 18 states that the LPK-101 "Kreechet" was developed by the company "Laboratory PPS".

In an interview with the publication, Denis Oslomenko, Denis Oslomenko, said that the complex was initially created for the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation to confront the sea drone. Later, the development was also decided to use UAVs, including heavy bombard drones, which the occupiers call "Baba Yaga". "Kretchet" can now be used both to fight backs and to fight "Grandma" because it gives a fairly long distance in the sky, "-says Denis Solomenko.
