BMP-1/2/3, BMD-1/2/3/4, BTR-70/80/82 and other Soviet and Russian models of combat vehicles responsible for delivering the landing to position, assaulting and fire support. The extremely low life cycle of survival of the machine itself and, as a consequence, crew and landing, as well as after damage, mostly inability to recover, led to high losses in this category and ultra -high losses of personnel.
Western samples of technology, thanks to a more thoughtful technical solution and high booking, are ahead of Russian samples, even from a modern line, and this applies not only to M2A2 Bradley and CV90, but also seemingly morally outdated M113, Marader1.
Russian enterprises producing BBM (Arzamas and Mound Machine -Building Plants, Volgograd Tractor Plant) and are engaged in the modernization and restoration of Soviet equipment, have gone into peak production performance, are still unable to compensate for monthly losses by the production of new equipment. The Soviet equipment in the warehouses ends, and the remaining, does not allow to restore it and compensate for the losses as quickly as in 2023 and the first half of 2024.
