Strengthening Ukrainian air defense and NATO reaction to the expansion of the war: Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with Mark Rutte

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The head of state thanked for the organization at the request of Ukraine an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ukraine - NATO, which took place yesterday. On it the Ukrainian side presented detailed information on the use of a new ballistic missile on the Dnieper. The President stated that Ukraine is expecting a decisive and timely reaction of the Alliance to the expansion of the war.

In particular, on December 3 and 4, Brussels will last a meeting of the NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers. Ukraine is counting on support in the transmission of air defense facilities capable of intercepting missiles of this type. The list of air defense systems that are in service with the Alliance, Ukraine has been handed over to partners. The head of state also stressed that it is important for Ukraine to get an invitation to NATO and continue defense with the Alliance.
