Kubrakov about the meeting of the Council of Ukraine-NATO: It is impossible to allow the blockades of the Black Sea by Russian troops

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure, Community and Territories Development Oleksandr Kubrakov opened Ukraine-NATO Council on Wednesday, initiated on July 22 by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during a conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Kubrakov wrote about it on his Facebook page, reports Delo. "Opened the historical meeting of the Ukraine-Ukraine-NATO", Kubrakov wrote.

According to him, the participants of the meeting discussed Russia's obstruction of free navigation in the Black Sea. "The goal of the enemy is obvious - to deprive the world of Ukrainian food, thus creating a global food crisis," the message reads. Kubrakov noted that the participants of the meeting jointly condemned Russia's exit from the grain initiative and purposeful rocket and drone attacks on port infrastructure of southern Ukraine.

"In the last 9 days alone, 26 port infrastructure and 5 civilian vessels have been damaged and partially destroyed as a result of Russian attacks," the Vice Prime Minister said. "The Russians also restrict navigation in the area of temporarily occupied Crimea and near the territorial waters of Bulgaria. This Russian Federation actually blocks the movement of ships in the direction of seaports of Ukraine," the post reads. "We must act quickly and decisively.

The Black Sea blockades cannot be allowed by Russian troops. This can lead not only to the loss of the Ukrainian economy, but also to the serious food crisis in the world, in particular in such humanitarian sensitive regions as Africa and Asia. We are already discussing possible ways counteracting the cynical attacks of the enemy and obstruction of free trade navigation. I am grateful to allies from the Alliance for the decision to strengthen their intelligence in the Black Sea.
