Syrsky commented on the threat of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye region

General Alexander Sirsky assured that the promotion of Russian invaders could be stopped. He recalled that Russia sought to reach Kharkiv, and its plan failed. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General-General Alexander Sirsky commented on rumors about the planning of the new offensive in the south of Zaporizhzhia region. This is known from the interview with The Guardian, published on July 24. "We can give them a good answer," Syrsky assured.

He did not comment on how true the reality was rumors about the threat in Zaporozhye, but confirmed the "very difficult" situation in the forefront. The commander explained that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attack Ukrainian positions "in many directions". At the same time, the General assured that the promotion of Russian invaders could be stopped. According to him, first of all it depends on the courage of the military.

As an example, Sirsky mentioned the attempt of the Russian Armed Forces on Kharkiv. "It has not been possible," he emphasized. The commander -in -chief explained that the successes of Russia on the front line - "tactical", that is, local achievements, not "operational" breakthroughs as a capture of the big city. "In principle, the enemy has not made significant progress," he said. Syrsky said that the length of the front line in Ukraine is 3700 kilometers, and active fighting was at 977 of them.

He specified that the distance was "twice the length of the border between Germany and France. " The General also stressed that the losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are "three times larger than Ukrainian, and in some areas - the difference is even greater. We will remind, the spokesman of "Tavriya" Dmitry Likhova told that Russia began to collect reserves in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporozhye region.
