Instead of evacuation: Terekhov told how the problem of hostile shelling of Kharkiv will be solved

According to mayor Igor Terekhov, problems with housing, energy, heat and water have increased through Russian shelling, but the city is aimed at recovery, not a decrease in the number of residents. Kharkiv is not considering the evacuation of the local population now to solve a number of problems. On the contrary, the city is set up for recovery. This was stated by Mayor Igor Terekhov in an Interfax-Ukraine comment.

According to him, talking about reducing the population in Kharkiv in order to solve problems with housing, energy, heat and water, which have increased due to regular Russian shelling. "Tell me, how do the military, which protect us? We will build a subway, modern electric transport, electric shops, we will buy cogeneration installations," Igor Terekhov said.

Separately, the mayor of Kharkiv added that the city actively cooperates with international partners to further restore the territory that the Russians are terrorizing. Commenting on the current situation, Igor Terekhov stated that in May of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation 76 times they strongly attacked the city. 193 air anxiety was recorded, which lasted almost 20 days in total. It is also known that hostile shelling destroyed more than 9,000 buildings.

It is more about residential buildings and educational institutions. Energy terror does not stop. From March 23, says Igor Terekhov, there are no TPPs and a transformer substation in the city, so Kharkiv is full from other regions of Ukraine. We will remind, on June 10 it was reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reduced the frequency of blows on Kharkiv with the use of C-300, as stated by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Synigubov.
